Good Luck Engraved Stones

There is something about revivals that is different and better.  These days, there is a struggle to find a show that is powerful.  Anything that is just good receives great reviews.  However, in the old days, there were masters creating musicals such as Fiddler, Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady and West Side Story.  If you choose a Broadway standard from yesteryear that is well done, you won’t need a good luck stone to pick a winner.

Gigi takes place at the turn of the 20th century in Paris.  Gigi is reared by her aunt and grandmother who still regard her as a teen.  However, she is now a young woman whom you will love.  She is chased by Gaston, the most eligible bachelor in Paris.  The music, choreography and acting are memorable as is the plot.  Songs include Thank Heaven for Little Girls and The Night They Invented Champagne.  The Neil Simon Theater is on 52nd Street and reduced price tickets are often available.  See it when you are in New York City.
