Why Create a Photo Book

Love Greeting Stones

I Love Grandma Engraved Stones

In this modern world of technology, photos tend to be saved electronically as opposed to saving prints.  That is one reason Kodak filed for Chapter XI.  When birthdays come and we look for special ways of sending clever birthday greetings, we tend to share the photos on social media and emails.  That works great, but what happens ten years from now?

This weekend, my granddaughter visited us.  She pulled out the baby book we started thirteen years ago.  In it were pictures of her when she was born, her birthdays and special events like her first day of school.  Also, we saved things like party invitations and other remembrances to bring the past back to life.  It was a fun morning and we told her that one day, the book will belong to her.  While there is a good argument for saving photos electronically, there is also a strong case for creating a treasure book.  You have only one chance to get it right.
