Happy Birthday Engraved Stones

If your birthday is February 29th, when do you celebrate each year?  Do you celebrate on February 28th or March 1st?  Or, do you celebrate only on Leap Day, February 29th, once every four years?  When would you like your birthday engraved polished stones?

According to the research, you are not celebrating your birthdate, but that you are one year older.  As we know, one year is a complete revolution of the earth around the sun or 365  and 1/4 days.  Therefore, each year just add 365 and 1/4 days to the hour of your birth, and that’s when you celebrate.

For example, if you were born on February 29, 1980 at 9 PM.  After 365 and 1/4 days,  your first birthday would be on March 1, 1981 at about 3 AM.  However, if you had been born on February 29, 1980 at 9 AM, your first birthday would have been celebrated on February 28th at 3 PM.

For many of us the math is just too complicated.  If my birthday was Leap Day, I would celebrate on both Febrary 28th and March 1st.  Every Leap Year, I would plan a special celebration.
