Legal Marijuana

Engraved Stones Gift Bowl

There was a time when selling or possessing pot was a federal crime.  The Federal laws became modified so that pot was legal under certain medical conditions to ease the suffering of some patients.  Activists say these conditions include Alzheimer’s disease, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Glaucoma,  Arthritis, Depression, Anxiety, Hepatitis C, Morning Sickness, Cancer,  HIV/AIDS and Chemotherapy.  Activists are not driven by motivational stones or concern for the suffering.  Their concern seems to be for the open use of pot.

If one looks at the list of conditions, almost everyone on the planet needs medical marijuana.  Are there no other drugs that bring relief?  They claim that no one ever died from pot.  Do they include the folks that were stoned and driving, much the same as with alcohol?  Is the push for medical pot a prelude toward a move for legalized pot?  I don’t know, and I am not an advocate for any position.  But I suggest that we do more research before diving into the pool head first.
