Happy Hanukkah Engraved Stones

Our kids gave us tickets for the show Guys and Dolls as a Chanukah Greetings gift.  Last night, we finally got to see it at the Wick Theatre in Boca Raton, Florida.  It has been at least ten years since we last saw it live.  What a treat!  Fabulous music and great choreography dominated the evening along with a wonderful story line.  For those unfamiliar with the show, Google it.

The story involves Damon Runyon type characters during the early part of the 20th century.  They include Nathan Detroit, Nicely-Nicely, Harry the Horse, Sky Masterson, Benny Southstreet, Sarah Brown and Miss Adelaide who is engaged to Nathan Detroit for 14 years.  The focus of the show deals with a bunch of craps players that are looking for a location for their game. There are three other sub themes.  Lt. Brannigan of the police department is ready to destroy the plans for craps.  The show is set in New York City so the dialect will sound New Yorkish.  The show moves so rapidly, there is no time to lose interest.  Catch it if you can.
